Mom and Daughter Weekend

My mom came up and spent the weekend with me while hubby went on his yearly fishing trip to Texas. She brought all of her pictures, did I say all of her pictures, well I mean ALL of her pictures. It took 3 tables to stack the many boxes and albums she brought. We got a good start on the album she is putting all of her parent's married life in. Here are a few layouts we completed. I am already looking forward to next years trip already.

Finished up my new Great Nephew's Mini Album last night.

All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

Well I wish I could say I have been working so hard on my passions that I haven't had time to blog but that would not be true. My 40 hour a week job has turned into a few more hours then 40 and I have been so overloaded at work that My Craft Room is gathering dust and cobwebs. Even though busy I do not wish this to look as though I am complaining, I can truly say I feel very blessed because I have a job when so many others do not. Thank you Lord for my many blessings.

Ladybug's in January?

I have seen two ladybugs in my craft room and am not sure what it means BUT they are so cute and I did have these red, black, and white bags.


I used paper bags and matting board to make my first mini album.

I covered the front and the back with material then inked around the edges.

Inside I covered each page with designer paper and made tags with coordinating ribbon to add to the pockets.


I then added pictures of my youngest granddaughter, daughter and son in-law, stickers and embellishments.
